With the ecomaru ™ purging compound filled with glass wool, Convena is offering a ready to use and highly effective mechanical purging compound for quick material and color changes in injection molding machines.

The glass wool used is an upcycling product made from glass wool trimming from the production of a world-famous manufacturer of electrical appliances from Japan.

With glass wool instead of glass fiber as the filling, the surface area of the filling increases significantly.

The advantages over glass-filled purging compounds are:

• quick and effective removal of deposits, burns and material residues that are resulting into black spots
• short machine downtime
• less material usage

ecomaru™ is a cleaning granulate that is suitable for cleaning screw and barrel.

GWP Grade is based on PP resin and GWS Grade is based on AS resin.
